Led the complete redesign of Sonesta's hotel search and booking experience, focusing on performance optimization and accessibility improvements. The project involved migrating from a legacy React setup to Next.js with TypeScript, implementing advanced caching strategies, and optimizing the critical rendering path. Key challenges included reducing time to interactive while maintaining rich functionality, implementing server-side rendering for improved SEO, and ensuring WCAG 2.1 AA compliance throughout the booking flow.
